Junior Diamond Prospects Evaluation Clinic I

Junior Diamond Prospect’s first clinic/evaluation turned out a handful of future baseball stars at Riverside High School on Saturday that even made notable first impressions among college coaches. Laurens Lightning’s sixth grade sensation O’Kevius Conway (left) smoked baseballs during batting practice that had evaluators thinking about the next Preston Wilson. Find out what middle school pitchers have already broke the 80 MPH barrier, along with our much-anticipated Player Rankings. Junior Diamond Prospects will crunch the numbers and inform our viewers of every detail from Saturday’s event. Did Alex Rhodes from Greenwood take the #1 ranking after turning in a 6.92, 60-time or did BHP’s sweet-swinging lefty Andrew Cox claim the top spot? JrDP will deliver the Top Batting Practice Rounds, Best Arms, Top Infielders, 60-Times, Best Overall Talent and more by Wednesday!

From the educational standpoint, fifteen college and professional instructors were on hand to provide one-on-one contact with our participants (Right, Erskine's Chad Amidon conducts a pitching station). Not only did every player receive an objective evaluation, each player got a chance to be informed on nearly every aspect of the game and get personal time with a college coach or professional player/coach.

Don't miss Friday's edition, it will be an extensive account of the event's Top 15 in the 6-8 grade levels. Stay tuned for our premiere coverage of junior baseball in South Carolina!
